Gaza-based 16th of October Media Group organized its 3rd-annual Media Summer Camp for distinguished kids. The media camp is designed for the participants to speak up for their rights while living under more than 15 years of Israeli siege and occupation.
Children and youth are the ones suffering most, but they receive little to no international media coverage of the crimes these youth have lived with their entire lives. The media summer camp enables Palestinian youth to speak in front of the cameras and much more.
Previous media summer camps were held in 2021 and 2022. A total of 55 kids participate each time during the two weeks at media camp. “Palestinian Kids Talk,” a show produced by 16th of October Media Group, highlights their dreams, as well as the Israeli occupation’s nightmarish crimes and violations against them.
