Al-Aqsa Hospital in the Deir al-Balah area of the central Gaza Strip, Palestine. Injured people are not being accommodated in the emergency department of this hospital. Israeli forces attacked the nearby Az-Zawaida area. From there the injured people were brought to the hospital.
It was the first Israeli attack on Gaza since the UN Security Council passed a ceasefire resolution on Monday. Not only Deir al-Balah, but Israel also continues to indiscriminately attack various areas of Gaza even after the ceasefire resolution was passed.
The Rafah area along the Egyptian border in southern Gaza and Gaza City was hit by brutal attacks on Tuesday. At least 15 people including 4 children were killed by indiscriminate bombing in a house in Rafah. Many were injured. At least 30 people were killed in the Israeli attack on Gaza City.
32,943 Palestinians have been killed since the start of Israel’s attack on the Gaza Strip on October 7

The Gaza Health Ministry said on Tuesday that at least 32,943 Palestinians have been killed since the start of Israel’s attack on the Gaza Strip on October 7. At least 81 people have been killed in the previous 24 hours. Since the start of the attack, 74 thousand 787 people have been injured in Gaza. Most of the injured are women and children.
The UN Security Council passed the resolution on Monday calling for an immediate ceasefire in Gaza. 14 of the 15 member states of the council voted in favor of the proposal. Israel’s ally the United States abstained from voting. Earlier, the country had repeatedly vetoed it. This time, the change in the position of the United States has disappointed Israel.
When the resolution is passed by the Security Council, it becomes international law. 193 member states of the United Nations have a legal obligation to comply with it. This law also applies to Israel. However, after the proposal was passed, Israeli Foreign Minister Israel Katz made it clear that they would not accept this proposal. There will be no ceasefire in Gaza. The same comment was made by other leaders of this illegal country.
